What does P2463 mean?
The DTC P2463 (Diesel Particulate Filter Restriction - Soot Accumulation) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a DPF clogged condition in the dpf subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.

- Failed regenerations (short trips)
- Bad DPF pressure sensor
- Worn injectors

Force regen + city/highway test drive at sustained RPM. If unrecoverable, DaVinci DPF Off.
