What does P2458 mean?
The DTC P2458 (Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration Duration) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a DPF regen duration condition in the dpf subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.

- Short trips preventing regens
- Failed DPF
- Stuck thermostat (cold engine)
