What does P0017 mean?
The DTC P0017 (Crankshaft/Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor B)) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a cam-crank correlation B1 condition in the timing subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.

- Skipped timing tooth
How to fix P0017
CRITICAL — usually means timing chain stretch. Inspect immediately. Common on BMW N20/N55, Audi/VW 2.0 TSI.
