What does P0601 mean?
The DTC P0601 (Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a ECU checksum error condition in the ecu subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.
