What does P0101 mean?
The DTC P0101 (Mass Air Flow Sensor Range/Performance) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a MAF performance condition in the air/fuel subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.

- Dirty MAF element (most common)
- Air leak post-MAF
- Aftermarket intake without recalibration
- Worn MAF
How to fix P0101
Clean MAF with sensor-safe spray first. 80% of P0101s are dirty MAFs. After tuning intake mods, recalibrate MAF scaling.
