What does P3000 mean?
The DTC P3000 (Battery Charging System (HEV/EV — Toyota Prius family)) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a hybrid battery condition in the hybrid subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.
