What does P0011 mean?
The DTC P0011 (A Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced (Bank 1)) is a fault code stored by the ECU when it detects a VVT over-advanced condition in the variable valve timing subsystem. It is commonly seen on European and Asian vehicles using Bosch, Continental, Siemens or Denso ECUs.

- Failed VVT solenoid
- Stretched timing chain
- Carbon buildup on VVT actuator
